CiTIUS is a research center in Intelligent Technologies belonging to the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The center is part of the ‘Campus Vida’ (Life Sciences Campus) Research Centers Network, which was acknowledged in 2009 by Spanish Government as an “international campus of excellence”.
Contact Form
Data sent through the contact form is sent by e-mail. The data will be stored in the e-mail servers for a certain period for customer service purposes, but it is not used for marketing or any other purposes.

Analytics
This site uses Matomo Analytics which tracks the following anonymized information: User IP address (anonymized by two bytes), date and time of the request, title of the page being viewed, URL of the page being viewed, URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page, screen resolution being used, time in local user’s timezone, files that were clicked and downloaded, links to an outside domain that were clicked, pages generation time, approximate latitude and longitude of the user (at country level), main language of the browser being used (Accept-Language header), user agent of the browser being used (User-Agent header).
The information is solely used to gather statistics for internal and external audits and is kept for up to 2 years. Access is limited to authorized personnel working for the center and will never be transferred to third parties. Summaries and statistics could be communicated to third parties through presentations, reports or other methods.
Since data is anonymized before being stored, you can’t exercise any of the rights contemplated in the RGPD (access, rectification, deletion and limitation of treatment, portability of data). If you have any concerns regarding your privacy, you must send en e-mail to citius.tic@usc.es.
USC Privacy Policy and Data Protection
In accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 and Organic Law 3/2018, all data collected will be processed by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) as “Research data management” with the purpose of managing research data in scientific, historical, cultural and linguistic activities in order to create research results for scientific purposes.
The responsible body for this treatment is the Vice-chancellor’s office for Research and Innovation, whose contact details are Edificio CACTUS 1ª Planta, 15782-Santiago de Compostela.

The lawful basis for processing is the consent of the interested party and, if applicable, the provisions contemplated in the Universities Organic Law 6/2013, and the provisions contemplated in the Autonomous Law 6/2013, of the Galician University System.

Nevertheless, you are entitled to submit a complaint to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
The data will be stored for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected, or the time necessary to comply with legal obligations. Once the purpose is fulfilled, the data will be blocked for the periods required by law, unless they are necessary for the provision of the public service of higher education.
